Could anyone direct me to resources about how to write math equation
in MathJax with Latex?
Thanks in advance.

There are many LaTeX tutorials on the web, with various levels of
details and assumed background, and it's hard to say which one is the
best for you. Two resources which I personally found useful:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX
http://www.math.harvard.edu/texman/

Hope this is useful, and please let us know if you found the perfect
tutorial out there.

When I was first learning LaTeX and was needing it for my math
classes, I found this guide very helpful:

ftp://ftp.ams.org/ams/doc/amsmath/short-math-guide.pdf

I use this site pretty frequently when I'm working in LaTeX--a good
reference to various symbols you may need:

http://web.ift.uib.no/Teori/KURS/WRK/TeX/symALL.html

For LaTeX in general, which you probably don't need for MathJax, my
professor recommended the "Not So Short Introduction to LaTeX":
