Hello,
I just started using MathJax, and everything works great most of the time. However, sometimes (it's pretty random when it occurs) the font size becomes smaller, and the math shifts down. I wasn't sure if this was a MathJax error, or if it is a compatibility issue with the templates I'm using. Thanks.

What browser and OS are you using, and what version? What version of
MathJax do you use?

I am running my server locally with MAMP. My OS is Lion (10.7.5), and I am using Google Chrome (Version 22.0.1229.94). I'm going to be switching platforms to linux since that's what the destination server for this project is running, and I will see if the problem persists.

OK, thanks.  What version of MathJax are you using?

When you say it is somewhat random, do you mean that the same equation sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, or do you mean that you see no pattern in which equations are affected?

Is your page dynamic?  That is, are parts of it constructed on the fly?

Can you provide a page that exhibits the problem?  Or a pointer to a URL where it happens?

I'm using the most up to date version of MathJax (3.1), I tried it with 3.0 to make sure it wasn't an issue with version.    When I say it is random, I mean that sometimes the equations display with the proper size, and sometimes they don't. I do not see a pattern in which equations are affected. I'm not sure how the template constructs the page, but I am pretty sure it is the cause of the issue. I created another sample page without the template and it worked without errors.  Unfortunately I cannot provide a page that exhibits the problem since I am developing on a local machine. I haven't tried it on linux yet, but hopefully that will fix the problem. Thanks.

Avi, I'm guessing you mean 2.1 (unless you're from the future ;) )

Could you perhaps create a jsfiddle page with some example code we could examine?

Ah yes. 2.1. Thanks. Haha. Anyways, I am developing locally, and since it uses a php template I cannot create a jsfiddle page to show you. However, I have solved the problem by switching to linux. For some reason it dislikes mac. Thank you for your help anyways.
