Hi,

I used MathJax with CKEditor but now I am creating a WYSIWYG Editor using HTML and Javascript. I am quite stuck in this part.

I like to make a Button(for Mathjax) like in CKEditor when I click it I can write formula in latex format and it display the correct formula in iframe tag.

How to use MathJax for my requirement. what logic I must write upon button click or are there any existing functionality(script) is there.

Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is very broad question and will depend heavily on your editor's design. It's probably more useful to post to a larger forum such as stackoverflow regarding wysiwyg editing in general.

If you are mimicking CKEditor, I would suggest to check out the source of the mathjax plugin. You probably also want to read through https://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/advanced/typeset.html in any case.

Regards,
Peter.
