I need help getting Mathics3's Django code ported out of MathJax 2.7.9

Mathics3 is an open-source Mathematica. It has a Django interface that uses MathJax. 

I've struggled a bit to try to get it to use MathJax 3.x or 4.x to no avail. The branches I've tried can be found in https://github.com/Mathics3/Mathics3-django/branches

Is there anyone out there up for getting Mathics3's Django ported over to a more recent MathJax?
