Dear Game-Based Learning Member,

Join us for the next webinar!

Manipulating Math in Mobile Games: Numbers That Tilt, Pop, & Push
Thursday, July 12th - 4PM Eastern Time

In This Session
New mobile technologies such as iPads and iPhones are captivating children!  In our community’s next webinar, Motion Math Co-Founder Gabriel Adauto will show you how to channel that captivation into interactive math experiences with digital manipulatives that today’s technology has made possible.  He will share insights drawn from user-testing with diverse students as well as current research on early number sense. Gabriel also will demonstrate the way their design process uncovers math misconceptions that are often hidden by procedural fluency. You’ll see how today’s technology can connect math visualizations to new physical interactions, and how mobile tools can leverage game mechanics to enhance motivation and flow. See how mobile apps can help your students master math skills and gain an embodied sense of place value, fractions, and the number line, all in an environment of delight in learning and challenge.  Join Gabriel on July 12th to learn how to harness the learning potential of new mobile technology.
