Transforming Education for Humanity Conference (TECH)

December 16 - 18, 2017 | Visakhapatnam, INDIA

The 21st century presents exciting opportunities and a unique set of challenges. Education systems of the near future will need to devise new and innovative approaches and effectively use technology to empower the new generations to contend with a vast range of interconnected global issues.

Are you passionate about digital pedagogies to foster peaceful and sustainable societies? Do you have cutting-edge solutions, products or a pioneering digital pedagogy idea that you believe can transform the future? 

The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) is calling for unique proposals to be featured at its international ed-tech conference, ‘TECH'. Supported by the Government of India - Ministry of Human Resource Development and the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, the conference aims to work towards advancement of Digital Pedagogies for building peaceful and sustainable societies and to promote collaboration between educators, learners, policymakers, researchers, the youth and entrepreneurs from the field of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development.

TECH invites submissions for proposals on the following themes that can be presented through a variety of formats (panel discussions, workshops, e-posters, learning zone and more):

  • 21st century skills 
  • 21st Century Schools for Inclusive, Equitable and Quality Education
  • 21st Century Policies for the Implementation and mainstreaming of digital pedagogies in Education Systems

Final Date for Submission: August 15, 2017
