Dear colleague,
MS304 – Teaching Computational Science and Engineering across the Spectrum: from First-Year Transitions to Graduate Education
This mini-symposium brings together two perspectives:
research on undergraduate mathematics education (not necessarily on applied math or engineering), and
innovative teaching practices in Computational Mechanics, Computational Science and Engineering, and Applied Mathematics at undergraduate and graduate levels.
We welcome contributions on topics such as the transition to university STEM courses, active and blended learning, alignment between math curricula and engineering applications, assessment innovations, and supporting diverse student populations.

Unfortunately,
the deadline for abstract submissions is already January 12th (hopefully it will be pushed a bit, but don’t count on it...)
https://wccm-eccomas2026.org/call_for_abstracts. However, you only need to submit a 300-word abstract.
Note: This mini-symposium is part of a special track, so speakers may also present in another mini-symposium.
If you are interested, please submit an abstract!
Best wishes,
Steve Bennoun (UCLA)
Simone Deparis (EPFL)
