Are you interested in doing a PhD at the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia? Is your dream project related to assessment, feedback, and/or learning in a digital world?
In alignment with the Deakin application cycle, we are now calling for prospective candidates. The deadline for applications is in Aug 23 for international students and Oct 25 for domestic students.
Full details are available in the blog post below. Do check the eligibility requirements, information about stipends, and the sorts of research topics we work with at CRADLE.
Notably, we have a limited capacity to supervise new students this year, so please read the instructions carefully – not all of us can supervise projects at present. Take a look at the list of topics and supervisors to see who is available for what kinds of projects. Personally I'd be happy to supervise projects on, for example, assessment in a social world, diversity and inclusion in assessment, and long-term effects of assessment on student identities and belonging.
Any questions? See the blog post for contact details. I'd be happy to answer any queries, so send me an email if needed!
