The Department of Pedagogy, Didactics and Educational Sociology (EDU) conducts research, postgraduate education, undergraduate education and commissioned education in pedagogy, didactics and educational sociology. EDU also offers several master's programs. EDU has approximately 250 employees, of which around 175 are teachers/researchers, 45 doctoral students and 30 administrators. Assessment criteria
When selecting among eligible applicants, equal weight will be given to scientific and pedagogical skills.
When assessing scientific proficiency, special emphasis will be placed on documented research merits in the field of mathematics education. When assessing scientific proficiency, scientific quality shall be taken into account first and foremost. The scope of the research, primarily in terms of depth and breadth, shall also be given importance. Experience in research initiation and project collaborations is an asset. The allocation of external funds, scientific management assignments and anchoring within the national and international research community are also given importance.
When assessing pedagogical skills, special importance will be attached to documented pedagogical qualifications in teacher training courses. When assessing pedagogical skills, pedagogical quality shall be taken into account first and foremost. Scope, both breadth and depth, shall also be given importance. Experience in pedagogical development work shall be given special importance. Furthermore, importance shall be attached to the ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop education and teaching, as well as the ability to link teaching to research.
