FWD message:

Dear Harita,

Thank you so much for creating and facilitating the Mathematics Education Researchers (MER) community. It’s a wonderful space for connection and collaboration.

I’m reaching out to see if you’d be willing to share a fully funded Ph.D. opportunity in mathematics education at Texas A&M University, starting Fall 2026. I’m currently recruiting a doctoral student (RA position, fully funded for three years) to join my research team.

The research areas include:

  • Mathematical Argumentation and Proof

  • AI in Education

  • Teacher Education & Professional Development

  • Integrative STEM Education

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics or mathematics education, strong English communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for research. Prior research experience or publications are a plus.

To apply, applicants can email me at ylzh...@tamu.edu with:

  • CV

  • A brief statement about your research interests
(Subject line: Fall 2026 Ph.D. Applicant)

I’d greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word!

Sincerely,

Yuling Zhuang, Ph.D.
