Hello,
This is Robert Talbert from Grand Valley State University. In 2016, I published the book _Flipped Learning: A Guide For Higher Education Faculty_. I am beginning to write the second edition of this book, which will be greatly expanded with case studies from higher education faculty who use flipped learning. If you or a colleague are using flipped instruction (see below for my definition) in some form, and you would like to be interviewed by email about the details of your implementation and what you’ve learned for possible inclusion in the book, please take 5-6 minutes to complete this interest form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSekWPN2L4llGmMP952OyoXbs_QgchzVrHBg0fCUZW2sv1BrKQ/viewform
Respondents will be sent a Google Doc with the main interview questions on them, which will be completed on a rolling schedule throughout the spring and summer.
For my purposes, I define flipped learning as a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is repurposed and refocused for active learning and engagement.
Please feel free to forward this link to any colleague in higher education who might be interested. (“Higher education” includes any post-secondary educational setting.)
Thanks!
-rt
