Abstract:
In April 2024 leaders from Project EMBER held an in-person workshop at SL Math as part of their Critical Issues in Mathematics Education (CIME) program, "Bringing Innovation to Scale: Teaching-Focused Faculty as Change Agents". See https://www.slmath.org/workshops/1096 for more information including recordings from the 2024 event. We are now planning a virtual "CIME Redux" follow-up to that successful workshop. We hope you will attend and connect with other teaching focused faculty.
The CIME Redux workshop will be centered around 5-minute flash talks in which presenters will talk about an innovation or change effort in which they have been engaged, followed by 20-minute break-out discussions.
We recognize that folks are busy, so we will be sticking to the schedule below.
It is okay to join the event late; feel free to join at any time.
