FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT


We are delighted to announce that the Fifteenth Congress of the European Society for Research inMathematics Education (CERME15) will take place from 8th to 12th February 2027. It will be precededby the YERME day for Young Researchers from 7th to 8th February. The conference will take place inBratislava (Slovakia) and will be hosted by Comenius University, jointly organised by the Faculty ofMathematics, Physics and Informatics and the Faculty of Education.


CERME is a distinctive conference designed to foster communication, cooperation, and collaborationamong researchers in mathematics education. Its main feature is that attendees participate in one of31 Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) over several sessions on a common theme in mathematicseducation research. The TWGs cover a wide range of themes and provide an opportunity forresearchers to work together.

• 15 September 2026 | Deadline for submission of papers and posters
• 15 September 2026 | Deadline for request of financial support
• 31 October 2026 | Decision of papers and posters acceptance
• 31 October 2026 | Registration for the conference opens for presenting authors of accepted papers and posters, TWG leaders and co-leaders, plenary speakers, IPC and ERME board members
• 17 November 2026 | Registration for the conference opens for accepted coauthors of accepted contributions
• 4 December 2026 | Registration for the conference opens for all people
• 10 December 2026 | Deadline for applications for ERME poster award
• 12 December 2026 | Deadline for applications for ERME paper award
• 12 December 2026 | Deadline for submission of final versions of papers and posters
• 15 December 2026 | Deadline for reduced registration fee
• 4 January 2027 | Deadline for registration
• 7/8–12 February 2027 | YERME day / CERME15 conference
