Dear colleagues,

Dr. Sarah Hanusch (State University of New York at Oswego) is seeking participants for a research study to investigate college and university mathematics instructors’ relationships with their students and how grading practices are intertwined with those relationships.

If you are teaching an undergraduate mathematics course in an upcoming term (January 2025 through June 2025) and are willing to participate in approximately six Zoom interviews about your experiences spread over your term, please fill out the Google form below.

Participants who complete all scheduled interviews will be compensated with $300 in gift cards to a retailer of your choice.

This form will only take about five minutes to fill out! (Note: Filling out the Google form below does NOT obligate you to participate in the study.)

If you know other instructors who meet the criteria mentioned above who are not on this mailing list, please feel free to share the Google form link with them.

If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Hanusch at sarah....@oswego.edu or the SUNY Oswego Human Subjects Committee Chair at hsc-...@oswego.edu.

Thank you!
