FWD message:

Hello Harita,

I am asking you to do me a favor: announce my new book. I got your link from Pat.
Please check if this is clear before you send, and let me know if it is not.
Sincerely,
Susan (Shuk-kwan S. Leung)

Leung’s ICME lecture (Shanghai, 2001) was extended into this book.
Mathematics Problem Posing in Action: Students’ Learning, Teachers’ Professional Development, and Parental Involvement.

The book consists of actions taken in trying mathematics posing (MPP) in Taiwan. It is a sincere sharing from a mathematics teacher educator (MTE) who taught students and worked conscientiously with school teachers and parents over the 30 years of her career.

The actions were taken as she assumed different roles in a research agenda on MPP. Each section uses content-specific cases to show the actions and ends with a commentary by English, L.D, Silver, E. A., and Civil, M. The author invites readers to enjoy this journey. It starts with forewords by Stacey, K., and Mason, J..
