to Mathematics Education Researchers (MER) community

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the new webpage for Mathematics Education Research and Practice (MERP) is now publicly available. You can access the new site and submission portal here:https://www.jksmed.org/submission/Login.html

MERP is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scholarship accessible to mathematicians and mathematics educators across schools, colleges, and universities worldwide. As the English-language journal sponsored by the Korean Society of Mathematics Education, we welcome submissions from the global community addressing theoretical, pedagogical, methodological, and philosophical issues in the field.

To support our global community of scholars, MERP is proud to operate as a Diamond Open Access journal. This means there are no publication fees or Article Processing Charges (APCs) for authors. Your work will be immediately accessible to the public at no cost, ensuring maximum visibility and impact.

Focus on Practice: New Guidelines

We are particularly committed to bridging the gap between research and the classroom. We invite prospective authors to consult our recently published practice paper guideline. Please download the pdf guideline from the following link: Collaborating for impact: A vision for MERP

We warmly invite you to explore our new platform and consider submitting your work or sharing this announcement with colleagues. By fostering dialogue among educators and researchers, MERP aims to advance mathematics education through contributions that are both intellectually rigorous and practically meaningful.

Thank you for your continued contributions to the international mathematics education community.

Best regards,
