We have developed a course of independent study focused on Research in Mathematics Education. The course explores key theoretical & conceptual frameworks, methodological approaches, and empirical studies shaping the field. It is designed to help doctoral researchers gain a broad, critical understanding of the landscape of mathematics education research.
To enhance this learning experience, we are launching a peer-learning study group for PhD scholars working in or around mathematics education. Here's what you can expect as part of this study group:
Fortnightly online sessions to discuss key readings from the course
Collaborative learning with peers from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds
Guest interactions with professors and researchers on their famous writings
A space to deepen conceptual clarity and explore emerging debates in math education research
If you’re a doctoral student (or early career researcher) in this area and interested in growing through collective inquiry, we invite you to join us!
