Engineering degree at IIT Roorkee

Sir,
I got IIT JEE rank 3766 and I felt quite bad about my performance, but then I got to know about AM from Ur post 
Can you guide me that does it provides a engineering degree or not . If no then will it affect my career?
Sir kindly answer my questions ASAP cause I have to apply for college within 2days

First of all congrats on your acceptance in IIT Advanced.

No it doesn't provide an engineering degree. I haven't heard of anyone having any disadvantage because of an Int. MSc. degree. I haven't don't think it makes any difference whatsoever. Just to add to the point the placements of Int. MSc. Applied Mathematics have been better than quite a lot of branches.
