First of all congrats on your acceptance in IIT Advanced.
No it doesn't provide an engineering degree. I haven't heard of
anyone having any disadvantage because of an Int. MSc. degree. I
haven't don't think it makes any difference whatsoever. Just to
add to the point the placements of Int. MSc. Applied Mathematics
have been better than quite a lot of branches.
