Pappu Painter had been contracted to paint a house. In 15 days, working 9 hours each day, Pappu was able to complete 3/8 of the entire job. To speed things up, the owners hired Hari Lal to work with Pappu. Together they painted the remainder of the house in another 10 days, each working 9 hours per day. If Hari Lal had been hired originally instead of Pappu, how many hours would it have taken him to paint the entire house on his own?

What assumptions did you make to obtain your answer?

Rupesh,

Thanks for sharing the solution.

You should be able to see the responses of all participants in the forum. There may be some issue with the settings. I will check at my end, and you check at your end.

Cheers
