Hi Amiira

Suppose the required point is (a, b). Then we are given that a = (5/2)*b. 

Now, if you put x = (5/2)*b and y = b in the equation 2x+5y=20, you will get a linear equation in one variable "b". You can solve this to find the value of 'b'. Then, you can multiply that by 5/2 to find the value of 'a'. 

This will give you the required point.

(straight lines) when we convert an equation from the standard form to the normal form, why don't we use the -ve sign on the numerator of each coefficient? The formula for A, B and C has it.
