Hi all,

I am a newbie to mathbook as well as using the command line in general. My problem is that I can't get mbx to work.

The problem:
When I type mbx -h into Git (while the current directory is mathbook/script) I get the response
bash: mbx: command not found

What I have done:
My machine runs Windows 10. I had followed the steps in the installation guide a few months back and was able to create simple html documents. Recently I learned that I might want to use mbx to assist in creating images. However I could not get it working. A few minutes ago, I cloned mathbook again so that I have the latest version and ran the file mbx using Python 2.7 and Python 3.6.5. However the problem above persisted. I could not see any change in the directory after running the file mbx under Python.

Is there any way to know which part of the process was unsuccessful?

Best regards,
Dirk

Hi Dirk,

I can send more ideas a bit later. For now, try adding the switch

-vv

To your command-line. For extra-verbose output. Maybe paste output here.

Dear Dirk,

This is the *OLD* support list.  Can you repost your initial query at:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/pretext-support

and we'll work it out from there?   Thanks.
