multiline centered etc. output where <line> isn't permitted

Suppose one wanted a dedication like thus:

<dedication><line>To the people who made this project happen;</line><line>keep making it happen.</line></dedication>

But <line> isn't allowed here (though it looks right if you do this, better than when you use two <p> tags, tightly together).  And <br /> is now gone baby gone.  So how should we achieve this desired result? And don't tell me this isn't content, it's style - here, the structure is the content, like in a poem.  (Should I use <poem>?)

Yes, dedication, credit and similar things need some work.

It should work just like this, I think I made "line" work in dedication, though
maybe it is not in the DTD.

Go ahead and make an issue and I'll clean up when I get there.
