Formulas for tomorrow's quiz

Hi all,

I realize that there are a lot of formulas to know for tomorrow's quiz on probability. To make things a bit easier for you guys, I will put together a cheat sheet with some of the formulas, so that you don't have to memorize them -- you should instead focus your energies on understanding the formulas and knowing how to use them. I will post it here when it's ready. (It should be ready soon.)

Things I won't include in the cheat sheet but that are good to know:

- Theorem 2 on page 479 (I didn't use the term "Bernoulli trial" in class), and Example 5 on page 481

- Geometric distribution (Example 10 on page 484)

I'll print out copies for you guys tomorrow morning so you don't need to print these out yourselves.
