Hi guys,

Tomorrow, during the first hour of class, we will have a guest lecture given by Patrick "Patch" Kessler. Patch got his PhD from Berkeley in mechanical engineering in 2007; he now does engineering and design work in industry. He'll be speaking about an application of discrete math to a problem in design. I hope you guys can make it! It will be a cool talk.

I've also just finished grading the midterms, and I will be returning them back to you after Patch's talk.

Best,
Kevin
