Hi guys, after a few weeks of loneliness studies, AGAIN we get to the conclusion that we need the community/group. Rafael and I have agreed to follow up the "Pre-calculus" book from James Stewart assigning the exercises. In case you can't do (or even worse) don't get the exercise, one should go the material and study it. This approach have the benefits that we're not tied just to this book, but we can search any other references such as Khan Academy, TTC, et al. Tonight I'll be sending the first group of exercises. Unfortunately I don't have with me the pdf version of the book, hence I will be only sending the section name, etc.

Remember "None of us is smarter than All of us". so? We need the group, we need the community.

Who's in??

Any suggestions on how we will be completing the exercises? Let's say tonight we agree to complete exercises of section 1.1. What's the deadline? How are we going to share it? Compare...

Carlos showed a project using LATEX on google documents. That will be a nice to have.

Any ideas?

@Carlos, help us..

(well i am on vacation of itla),

I have the time, to start up with the exercises, tonight.
What's the deadline?
The deadline? I don't have idea when will be. Depends of the amount of exercises. How many are there?

I think the a deadline at this point is useless, because of the effort and time each one of the people involve will give to this endevour. I suggest you to send the problems and that's all, after that we can share solutions in a thread for a given problem.

Let's stop the organization part and start with the problems. What do you think?

Also, Andres, right now I don't have the book so probably I will need copies of the section you will send tonight.

I kind of agree with you rafa. I think we need commitments and goals. If we leave it just like that, one could take two weeks to do a simple exercise. So, we need a kind of pressure to work, let's say we agree a reasonable time (let's say 2 days) on a given section.

My 2 cents.
