Need primer for installing Math::GSL

Hi... I am having issues getting the perl Math::GSL installed and
running. Is there a primer with step-by-step instructions on where to
install, compile and use? I am not a power perl user in the area of
external packages.

The README that ships with the Math::GSL source is a good place to start.

If, in following those instructions, you're coming up with errors, then the
best thing is for you to provide us with a copy'n'paste of those error
messages.

Are more basic extensions (ie ones that don't rely on any external C
libraries) building ok for you ? Can you, eg, install Math::FFT without any
trouble ?
