Hello,
Next Thursday, February 18, TU is hosting a middle school open house, and we need volunteers to represent the math department.
Volunteering would involve giving a short presentation--which will involve deciding between pirates and ninjas using the Nearest Neighbor algorithm--handing out a few pamphlets, and answering any questions the children may have. You would not have to write the presentation, just show up to read it. We need people from 8:00am to 3:30pm, and ideally there would be at least two people at all times.
If you are available or interested, please let me know what times you are available and I'll make sure that you get the information that you need.
