Dear colleagues,

could you recommend a suitable candidate for post-doctoral researcher
position in Tallinn University, on the topic of technology-enhanced
mathematics education?
This position should support our participation in the AuthoMath and
MathCityMap follow-up projects, but also our national project
DigiMatIQ (jointly with maths education researchers from the
University of Tartu).
Therefore, we are looking for a candidate with good technical skills
(programming, software integration, learning analytics, data science,
data mining) and research experience in primary/secondary school
mathematics and/or computing education domain.
Estonia is a good place for post-doctoral research in the domain of
technology-enhanced mathematics education, as we seem to do something
right with our maths education (according to OECD PISA 2015, 2018,
2023), the level of digitalisation of education is quite high and our
research group in Tallinn University is very well connected both to
developers of the national infrastructure for digitalisation of
education and also to schools (which makes the large-scale data
collection easier).

We are planning to apply for such post-doc grant before March 15th and
if the candidate is strong, the likelihood of getting the grant is
quite high.
