Dear Mr Reddy,
                       You have to take all the required CVN specimens at all the locations specified.
@12 o'clock- WCL,FL, Fl+2 each 3 specimens
@3o'clock & 6o' clock also same.
This is taken to know the material properties at each position.

Dear Reddy,

Your spec means, for weld metal, FL and FL+2, impact test shall be carried out for top, centre and root region, each of the test would require 3 specimens.

let me know if you could interpret this correctly or else I would explain with detailed sketch.

Regards
Manpreet Singh

Dear Muhammed,

FL+5 is not mandatory and generally applicable for Cryogenic service (low temperature -100 deg), however there is no harm if you do it for normal service temperatures.
