Choice between 15 B25 and 35 C8

Dear Experts
We have to choose the material specification between 15 B25 and 35 C8 for a butt joint with backing strip thickness 12 mm, welded by GMAW welding with Argo mix - preferably in the spray transfer mode.
Please let me know your opinion about which is the bettter material .
35C8 uis cheaper than 15 B25.
