As per Latest’s edition of API 1104 (22nd edition) Table 1 Essential variables for qualification of welding procedure Specifications, Diameters are not listed as a essential variables.
Please share your experiences with standard references for diameter of Pipe are essential variables or not as per API 1104?

it's essential for welders only.
for WPS, diameter is not essential.
