Dear Sir,

When you have a project where it is required to have WPS regarding EN-ISO 15609 (BS-EN 288 is withdrawn) you should have a PQR qualified according to EN-ISO 15614-1 for Steel and Nikkel base alloys.

When your project specification still mentions BS-EN 288 you should have a PQR qualified according to BS-EN 288-3.

It is not allowed to use ASME IX PQR’s for drawing up EN-ISO WPS documentation.

Met vriendelijke groeten / Best Regards,

hi Shanmugam,

both codes are entirely different testing and qualification requirements, different essential variables, so you cannot make it.

For BS EN 288, you qualify it separately.
