Requirement For Shoe Support Pad

Gentlemen s ,

I have 2" to 10" P1 material pipe for Thermic Fluid of design temperature is 250 degree cel. Drawing shows trunnion and shoe supports directly fully welded on the pipes of thickness range 2 to 10 mm . Pls suggest whether its acceptable or need to have a reinforcing pads which is not welded to pipe will be acceptable.

It is not  indicated whether this line has been stress analysed. You can weld RF pad if analysis demands it.

not welded "reinforcing pad" can not be accepted as a reinforcing pad
