You must check hardness value of your piping, you can consult NACE MR-0175/ISO 15156 for hardness value for diferent materials like carbón Steel, satainless steel for source service.

Hi,

We have some straight pipes received which are for both sour and non-sour service. All these pipes are externally painted and tagged as per the isometric requirements for sour and non-sour. But during transportation and handling the tags are lost and now these pipes are completely mixed up.

How can we identify/segregate these pipes according to their respective service?

Note that color coding has been totally erased and no heat number marking is seen on the ID of the pipe.

Thanks,

Kiran
