Difference between SA 106 and SA 333 Gr 6

Dear Experts!
Could you explain how to determined these 2
materials as High Temp CS and Low Temp CS, because of these materials
chemical properties as well as same?

Hi Saamy,

SA-106 is a Standard Specification for Carbon Steel Pipe for High-Temperature Service whereas SA-333 is a Standard Specification for Seamless and Welded Steel Pipe for Low Temperature Service, I don't see any reason to compare both the materials.

grain structure change in both materials
i.e. LTCS materials having fine austenitic grain sturcture & High temp CS materials having Coarse grain sturcture
