Please check your shell ID in horizontal plane.
As per UG-80 difference between max. and min. inside diameters i.e. Ovality/ Out of roundness at any cross section shall not exceed 1% of nominal dia. You can aim for 0.5% as good practice.You also refer your client technical specs. for ovality permissible because some specs are more stringer and have stringent ovality control requirements.
You should use a D/4 template to check the peak in and peak out.
Please refer code for allowable values of peak in and peak out.
For eg. if your shell ID <= 152mm, allowed gap peak in/out is 0.8mm.
If your shell ID <=1524mm,
allowed gap peak in/out is 4.8mm and so on ---.
