Dear sirs,
My customer is asking for above electrodes. Since these electrodes are manufactured only on request, can we use E 7018 electrodes instead of above electrodes?

| Dear Anil, It purely depends upon your customer that whether to use or not "substitute electrodes ". E7014 and 7024 are rutile-iron powder covered electrodes (iron powder is 25 to 40%), can be used with AC and DC, have light penetration power and falls under F number classification F2. Whereas E7018 is low hydrogen iron powder (25 to 45%) covered, can be used wither with AC or DCEP, has medium penetration power and falls under F number classification F4.
