material range for WQT

Good morning gentlemans,

We had a WQT with ASME IX, P1 to P1 material with the thickness of 18.56mm x 6'' pipe.
According contractor the welder is qualified in (QW-402)P-No1 through 15F,P No34, & PNo.41 through PNo.49.

In my view ,material range should be as per QW423. Please correct me

Hi Sureh,
Ya the material range shall be as per QW 423, in this case please consider the F Number also. Because F.No. is a essential variable. Then dia also.
