Is postion consider an essential variable in WPS.

If I have a WPS in 4G postion can i use that WPS in 1g, 2G, 3G position..

Hi, welding position: Non-Essential for WPS as per ASME Sec IX code ., but essential variable as per AWS D1.1 code.
