API 6A- VALVE MATERIAL SPECIFICATION

Dear All,

 

I have one valve manufacturer data sheet for wellhead equipments based on API6A.The description given below.Could you please explain the material classes AA,BB,CC,DD,EE&HH?Which standard or code I have to refer to get the details?

 

I have heard about product specification level PSL1&PSL2 in line pipe(API 5L).Unfortunately ,I have no idea about the product specification in valves.Could you please throw some light on this matter?

These are defined in API 6A (ISO 10423).

Also guidelines to what PSL level shall be selected/specified in a specific situation is given in API 6A.
