FILLER FOR UNS8800 TO SS304

Dear experts,

Good morning all.

Which filler wire is suitable to weld for UNS NO 8800 .. and which filler wire is required to weld SS304 to UNS NO8800.....Please guide me.

Dear Sujith, 

you are recommended  to use below consumables  

i.e  ENiCrFe-2, -3 (SMAW)   & ENiCrFe-2 or -3  or  ERNiCr-3( for GTAW)

Hi Sujit,

As per API 582 you may opt to go for the following

1 UNS NO 8800 to itself : ENiCrCoMo-1 

2. UNS NO 8800 to SS304 : ENiCrFe-2 or -3.

You can use ER NiCr3

And ENiCrFe2 or NiCr Fe3
