There is no ready made formula for shrinkage calculation for ESSC weld overlay in ID of shell but shrinkage assumption is on the basis of experience and data recorded
Shrinkage depends upon Thickness of the base metal, Strip size i.e. 30,60,90 mm width,used
Current used etc
Generaly lower width with lower thickness of base metal and higher ID of a shell will have more shrinkage than Higher thk base metal with higher width strip used
You will find more shrinkage for a thickness of 50mm -100mm thk shell with ID above 2.5mtr than >100mm thk shell
My experience of shrinkage allowance is about 2.5/ 3mm/meter you take circumstantially or In other word ID will contract /shrink about 3mm/mtr in dia
