Dear Experts,
I am writing this for you to give me some advice/suggestions.

We are facing a severe issue in welding the Body-end connector joint in our small-size (0.75" 800#) 2-piece Ball Valves Lever Operated SW ends (MOC 316 with PTFE seat ring). Since our client wants us to seal weld the Body-End connector joint, after assembly and final testing prior to despatch.

We find that after welding, in TIG, the valve becomes very difficult to operate.
I request the experts in this group to suggest a suitable method to weld the joint.

Is it an option to only use a spot GTAW weld for fixture of the thread
Or seal it with Loctite
To prevent shrinkage during welding, very low heat input process like laser welding can be an option
