How much lux for film interpretation by film viewer? 
what is reference code & specification for this?

Dear Kunal,

There is no specific code or standard requirement of ‘lux’ for RT interpretation. Lux requirement is for Visual, MPI &LPI.

RT film viewer must have variable light intensity adjustment and able to read the maximum permissible density, which is in general 4.0.

Luminance required (for RT film viewer) will depend on the film density that needs to be read.
 

For reading film density of 4H/D, may require Luminance of 103,000 cd/sqm that will roughly equal to 323,000Lux.

 

You may also refer to standard ASTM E 1390 and ISO 5580 for transmitted light thru different densities are specified.
