Tubular section and Non tubular section Qualification as per AWS D1.1

Dear friends,

I have qualified tubular section WPS (PQR 8"x12.7mm CS Material).

Can we use Qualified tubular section (pipe to pipe) WPS in Non tubular (plate to plate) section area?

Is there any restriction to use? Please advise .
