API 650 Tank Calibration as per requirements of API Manual of Petroleum Measurement standard (MPMS).

Hi All,

We have constructed Oil & Fire water tank as per API 650

The Project Specification calls for tank a calibration to be made in line with the requirements of API  Manual of Petroleum Measurement standard (MPMS).

 

As stipulated, Contractor shall submit the Procedure describing the system proposed and methodology to Company for review and Approval prior to proceed.

 

I have not come across with this kind of requirement.

Please share your views if someone knows about this requirement

API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards Chapter 2, Section 2A will give you guidelines, and most of the calibration agencies will you provide you with the required method statements.
