We have to carried out PQR for one of vendor using material IS 2062 Gr. E450  for a structural fabrication work in India. The welding process to be used is SMAW, GMAW,SAW.
I would like to know the correct for welding because very limited information is available about this steel.
         Vendor suggested below consumables to be used :
- SMAW : E9018-M
- GMAW : ER 90S-D2
- SAW : EA2+F8A2

         So, requesting to guide regarding same

It;s equivalent to ASTM A572 Gr.65Type 1 and SMTS is 80ksi and hence you can try a E8018M/G & ER 80S-D2 or recommended by the Vendor
