         can anyone give me the details of equivalent materials list ?

 

For eg : S355k2+N is EH-36 (40 MM plates)

 

 

S355 J2 is equivalent to ----------- ??? (round bar dia  70 mm)

Chakri, From the table nothing of the sort you mention is clear, even S355k2+N is EH-36 (40 MM plates), where is it in the table? Also, S355J2+N is in the table as E36-4... I doubt very much if IS 2062 grade C is same as ABS AH36 Gr A - the mfg process is totally different.. Shashank Vagal

no,
 
S275JR is a material steel plat with a minimum yield strenght of 275 mpa, but SA36 is a yild strength of mn 240 mpa. so sa 3 can not substitut the s275 steel but s275 can.
please note that if you want to replace s275 with sa36 a design calculation is required. for vice versa the des. calcs is not required.
