Dear sir,

 

We are preparing an MDR.

 

Generally we are prepare MDR with the following points

1.material grade

2.if any material unique identification

3.heat number

4.item belongs to material grade (number of piece cut from plate)

5.UT report identification & traceability.

6.if any shipment details with unique number which will give summary for delivery.

 

Also sometimes we has to considered an if aay requirnments from client to be added & as well project specification.

Hi, MDR means Manufacturers Data Report/Record. There is no standard norm as such and many a times the clients require what should be the contents in the MDR/MDB (Book). However in general you can have the following for compiliation.

Dear Sir,

 

Normally , client will notify what is the content he is looking for in the MDR. Some times there will be MDR index to follow.

Most of the time MDR will comprise of ( depends of complexity of the work ) :

 

CMTR or Mill Certificate

Inspection Record

Final release inspection

Material tracibility

Raw material receiving inspection

NDE record / Welding record.

 

Expert may add if you have some more or even give sample of MDR index.
