Hai Experts,

      Please clarify the Welder Qualification Test Specimen Dimension as per ASME.  I used for pipe 150X150 and for plate 300X300 but where this details provide in the ASME? please clarify.

You need the weld min 6" for WQT
so if weld plate 150 mm length enough, 
If Pipe 2 " cover the WQT 

ASME SEX IX QW304 have this Information

As per article 3rd in ASME you should have 150 mm length of weld should be defect free generally use coupons of 150*300*thk so that if 150mm length is found defective than other 150 mm can be interpreted as a defect free. See clause 302. 2
